Pilates for Swing Sports

Skratch Women, invites you to a special Pilates for Sports class designed to help you

improve flexibility, core strength, balance, and focus—all the things that make your

swing smoother and your stance stronger (and your back a lot happier). This class will

help you prepare for rotational sports, such as golf, tennis, pickle and paddle but also

for other sports.


Whether you’re new to Pilates or just looking to get ready for your next round, this

session will leave you feeling more mobile, more mindful, and maybe even a few

strokes lighter on the golf course!


The class is run by Linda Segerstam, Golf-focused Pilates expert with 10+ years of

experience helping golfers, athletes and amateurs enhance performance, build

strength and prevent injuries. Linda’s background is in golf. She helped her parents run

a golf course from a young age, including teaching golf. Linda worked in the corporate

world in London for 15 years before changing career in her 40s to teach Pilates. She

was part of the team creating the Pilates for golfers instructor course for Body Control

Pilates in London.
